Don't Be Strange

Moira was singing to me today (as she does pretty much all day everyday) and started singing "Follow the Prophet." It went a little something like this:
Follow the Prophet, follow the Prophet, follow the Prophet he knows the way, don't be a strange!
She was close, don't go a stray - don't be a strange. Same thing right?
I love how toddler minds work!

So cute! Marcus does that with words too. He gets ideas of words from shows he watches (Super Why or Curious George). Today he came to show me his "Treasure Nest" which consisted of the plastic doctor kit we have filled with lots of different balls. I tried to correct him saying it was a Treasure Chest but he insisted that it was a Treasure Nest. Funny kids.

How cute. I love how kids hear things and repeat them. It's cute to hear what words they end up using.

Now that's a good one. Maybe we should write and have them add it to the real song!

That is funny. You will have to write that one down in your journal. I think it is funny she sings all day to you.

That's totally the way I'm going to sing it from now on. Or I would if I were still in the Primary...which I'm not. Yipee!

That song drives me crazy anyway. When I was on my mission, my first companion said she thought it sounded like a zombie song and I've never been able to think of anything else ever since.

Annj is always correcting me on songs we sing in FHE. LOL I'd tell you the words I sing but then you'd think I was totally strange, and as I'm trying to follow the prophet... no dice...

I love little kid versions of songs. They are the best. We need to see some pictures of your newest one. I haven't seen many.
