Free admission to Red Butte Garden on Friday April 24th.
They do this every year for Arbor day. This will be our third year going, it's a good time for all! Pack a picnic and wander the beautiful gardens. They have a kids garden that Moira loves, plus exploration stations (mini classes) throughout. Also you get a free tree to take home and plant.
The first year we went it was warm enough that the water fountains were on to play in, but last year it was too cold. I hope it's warm because the fountains are fun!
I remember going in Highschool once for a date and they have some cool hiking paths that go up the mountain too (for you more ambitious folk).
Here are pictures of our 2008 visit.

I would love to try and go this year! I'm just not sure if I could brave Darren with that much open space to run around. We have a sit and stand, but if he's in that he's screaming the entire time! lol. It would be a lot of fun though!
Looking forward to seeing this years photos! I have never been to Red Butte Garden. I am definitely going to have to visit.
That really looks cool I wish Idaho had fun things like that. You will have to take lots of pictures of the kids garden so I can see what they do. I am thinking about having a place in the yard just for the kids to enjoya and plant and play.
By the way my Udder Cover came I am so excited. It also works great as a superman cape I just found out. :)
That is great to know they do that at the gardens! Love knowing about the freebies
