Yesterday our wonderful photographer Tina offered a free 5x7 photograph of kids in their Halloween costumes for the donation of a can of food.
I couldn't decide what to have the girls wear because they seem to have an abundance of costumes this year.
Moira has 3 princess dresses (I got on clearance last year after Halloween), plus a pumpkin sweatsuit (this is her 3rd year wearing it), a Tiger costume and a Lady Bug costume (both hand-me-downs).
Kella has two Pumpkin sleepers, a chicken costume (Moira wore last year), a Dorothy of Oz costume (aunt Niki made for Zoey) and a Lady Bug costume (hand-me-down).
I wanted some kind of theme for the picture and narrowed it down to three options. 1. Pumpkins 2. Lady Bugs or 3. Cinderella and her Pumpkin (not yet formed in to her Coach).
As you see we chose Cinderella and her Pumpkin. Moira was so excited because she's had her Sleeping Beauty and Snow White dresses to play in all year, but I was saving the Cinderella dress for Halloween so it was a surprise!
Lest you think the other costumes will go to waste, just know they won't! We have multiple parties to attend, I've been letting them both wear their pumpkin outfits the whole month of October and on Halloween when it's chilly outside they'll go trick-or-treating bundled up as Lady Bugs.

This is funny, I just found last year's picture because I couldn't remember what they were. Apparently they were the same thing . . . Cinderella and her Pumpkin!

How funny. I say when you have a good idea its not bad to do it more than once. They both look cute but I have to admit I misses Moira's beautiful smile in the first shot, it must be just after she lost her slipper.
