The other night after spending time with my mom, she was saying goodbye to Moira and said, "See you later alligator!" Moira promptly replied, "See you later cow!" We all started laughing at Moira's attempt to get the right lingo.
Moira says many other things that I find cute and funny and I wanted to chronicle them before I forget!
She says alligator for elevator
bargage = garbage
hairplane = airplane
hairport = airport
beautitiful = beautiful
boon = spoon
quesadilla-dilla = quesadilla
upping = going up
downing = going down
darking = dark
gorilla = umbrella
She pointed to the bumpy mole on my brother Tom's forehead and called it a polka-dot. Now she asks me where the polka-dot on her forehead is.
Ever since I told her the baby was swimming around in my tummy, she's convinced there's a fish in there with the baby.
This is what I can recall for now, I'll have to update when more cute and funny things occur!

Daniel calls the elevator an alligator as well. It still makes me laugh when he says he wants to go up the alligator!
It's just the cutest seeing these little kids learn the lingo and trying to talk all they want.
I love that, I am going to have to say that next time some says "see ya later alligator" to me. But since I am not a little kid, someone will probably take offense... hmmm. Still Moira is still just too cute for her own good.
what's really sad is when they start saying all those things right. Adam used to call an elephant an ephalant. And one day he said elephant I cried because it meant he was growing up. and umbrella is no longer an underbrella either. just a plain old umbrella.
