Friday Freebie - Utah Museum of Natural History

The first Monday of every month is free at the Utah Museum of Natural History located at the U of U. They will be open 9:30am-8:00pm with a special "Phun With Physics" demo at 5:30pm.

We have been to this museum twice now and love it! Currently they have a 'Toadally Frogs' exhibit that is great. Also they always have a neat "archaeological dig" for the kids (in rocks not sand, no mess). Moira loves to discover dinosaur bones with her brush among the rocks.

Info from their site:
Phun With Physics - What do balloons, bicycle wheels and liquid nitrogen have in common? Come find out! Ask NASA Solar System Ambassadors Patrick Wiggins and Tori Spratling. Their energetic and interactive live physics demonstration will reveal science at work to both kids and adults. For families, adults, and children of all ages.
